Are you eager to learn more about the nature around you? Want to sharpen your superpowers of wonder and curiosity? Explore the library’s beautiful backyard and learn how to ground yourself in appreciation for the outdoors. No prior skills required. Recommended for ages 14+. This program usually runs the first Saturday of the month from 10:30 am – 12 pm. Call 831-883-7507 and sign up today for any upcoming 2024 sessions.

Nature Journaling is taught by Melinda Nakagawa, a local biologist, naturalist, and educator. She has a B.S. in Marine Biology from UC Santa Cruz and a M.S. in Marine Science from Moss Landing Marine Labs. Learn more by visiting her website at sparkinnature.com
